You do not have to know the whole journey to go on it. You do not need anything to make your move.
God says to Abraham, go and sacrifice your son on the hill shown to you. And although God does not say what and where exactly it is to happen, Abraham does not question. He just does.
Peter says, let us make three tents, because he really did not know what else to say. He did not understand what he saw. He did not discuss with Jesus and certainly did not know exactly what Jesus had in mind when He spoke of the resurrection of the dead.
You do not need to know the whole journey in order to take the next step.
Do you know why God put Abraham to the test? Of course not, because we do not have to know everything
But we can say for sure that all the events in which God is specifically involved, change each of us.
Today we are with Jesus at the moment in which He was transformed.
Will we have the chance to be transformed?
God wants us to change, but we must desire to do so.
Jesus was transfigured on the Mount where He was. Where, as Scripture tells us, man meets with God. This means that Jesus came into a "dead-zone" where the possibility existed for an encounter with God.
With us, change is similar. It is not enough just to want to transform, but you must enter a certain environment where God is working more. We can then, more than usual, experience His presence.
Since we are here today, let us think with curiosity about our transformation, our conversion .We ask for this transformation through God, and let us do everything to be in His presence.
We also need to understand that not all that happens in our life will make sense to us. And, not all of our questions will be answered, because we do not need to know everything here on earth to be with God in the future.
